Join the running tour of the 2017 UK City of Culture in the RB Hull Marathon & Relays. Organised by runners for runners, the event received rave reviews from runners in 2015 and 2016, praising the organisation, the hundreds of enthusiastic and helpful volunteers and the thousands of cheering spectators.
The revised route for 2017 will take in some of the key venues for City of Culture events as well as many of Hull’s distinctive landmarks. The course is run on closed roads and is mainly flat.
The race will start and finish at the KCOM Stadium - home to Premier League Hull City AFC and Super League Hull FC. The course includes a tour of the city centre, the historic Old Town, the maritime heritage of the docks and marina, 4 beautiful parks, a lap of the track at Costello Athletics Stadium and a return crossing of the iconic Humber Bridge – the second longest single-span suspension bridge in the world! Runners will finish inside the KCOM Stadium where spectators will be able to cheer them on from the comfort of the stands.
For those who don’t want to run a full marathon there are relays for teams of 2 and 4.
