Ras Al Khaimah offers some of the fastest, flattest, and most modern road surfaces in the world, making it an ideal destination for distance running enthusiasts. The Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon has established itself as the top Half Marathon in the Middle East for over 16 years. Renowned athletes such as Sammy Wanjiru, Hellen Obiri, Peres Jepchirchir, and Benard Koech have all made headlines in Ras Al Khaimah. The event, organized by the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA), will feature four races on Al Marjan Island. Runners of all levels are attracted to this event, which includes a 21.1km half marathon, as well as 10km, 5km, and 2km races for participants of all ages and abilities.

Route was repetitive and all the loops do not make it attractive. Lack of water stations and music. In the years it seems that you are trying to save on what this kind of events are all about. Entertainement, competition, support, celebration, music, people cheering, having fun, etc. Get live band music, at least a DJ rather than a radio blasting music. The start line was tight and people could not pass. No pacers to help...you def need to work better on plenty of things and going backward

hot in the second hour but still so much fun. i got bested by a clown, then i got a unicorn power.. so much fun and smiles all the way. :)

I have Run the RAK a few times, its a great race and well organised. There are adequate water stations and the race pack is always good. RAK is also a lovly place to stay both before and after the race. So don't rush off after the race.

Fast and flat course, if conditions are rights you can run a good time.
