The event was very well organized, with regular emails informing participants about everything we needed to know. The race itself ran according to schedule and saw a large number of enthusiastic runners taking part.
The route was clearly marked, with volunteers stationed at strategic points. It was an enjoyable run
The best run I've done in Colombo. The route is on flat roads and most of it goes along the beautiful coast of Sri Lanka. There were aid stations every 3k and towards later part every 1-2k. Well organized event with great prizes for the top 10 in each category. Run started at 5.00 a.m. and the weather was good for running.
Flat course for 21.1k. I finished in 1.39 hrs. There were 10 aid stations on the route with water, electrolytes, etc. Nice medal.
Excellent planning and execution. Route map and the other details were well shared in advanced. During the run, there was more than sufficient volunteers to direct the runners. Adequate aid stations with hydration and medical staff to assist the runners. Plenty of encouragement overall. Kudos to ICA for organizing a well planned event.
