Courses Challenge Mallorca triathlon. 1,9k swim in the amazing Torà Beach. 90 k bike between traditional towns & coastal. 21 k run in the heart of Paguera Courses Challenge Mallorca triathlon are designed in collaboration of the CHMALLORCA team, local athletes and the Spanish triathlon federation. These courses are subject to modifications and changes in order to improve the security of the race or due an organization needs. SWIM 2 laps (950 m each one) – 1,9 km The swimming circuit takes place entirely in the beautiful, central and busy Playa de Torà. This is a SPECTACULAR segment, as from the 2022 edition participants will swim the 1.9 km in two laps, exiting the water to re-enter again. You will swim 1.9 K from the Bay of Peguera and return to the arena of Torà beach. After that you will arrive to the transition zone (T1, T2), approximately 140 meters from the water. BIKE 2 laps – 90 km The bike course is full of landscapes (mountains, coast…) and impressive uphills and downhills. This track is technical and demanding, in some moments faster than the rest. The riders complete two 45 km laps along the coast, passing through some of the best known tourist resorts and alongside some of the island’s most popular beaches before heading inland into the midst of magnificent natural scenery in the foothills of the internationally famous Serra de la Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The altimetry in each lap is approximate 500 m. The cycling segment departs from Peguera and continues through to Es Capdellà, a beautiful traditional town. The descent through Son Pillo takes competitors through the tourist areas of Calvià, El Toro, Santa Ponça. Afther that back to Peguera, following the coast line. RUN 4 laps – 21 km The running segment of Challenge Peguera Mallorca is beautiful and tough. The course elapses entirely through the neuralgic center of Peguera. Four laps which alternate between the concurred boulevard and the maritime broadwalk that join the Tora, Els Morts and La Romana Beaches, some of the most impressive coastal views in Mallorca. The finish line will be situated at the plaza which joins the beach with the boulevard, the heart of Peguera.
