Vernon Burnin' Bike Ride

Welcome to the 28th Annual Vernon Burnin' Bike Ride.  Tune up for the "Hotter-N-Hell" in Wichita Falls, Texas, which is always scheduled for the following weekend.  The 100K provides a fun and challenging ride for both the novice and expert.  Also available will be 12, 22 & 33 mile routes.  Rest stops and sags will be available.  T-shirts are guaranteed to the 1st 100 preregistered riders. 

The ride will begin at 7:30 am on Saturday August 17, 2024 from the beautiful Vernon College Campus.  Late registration begins that same morning at 6:00 a.m.

Event details and schedule

PACKET PICK-UP/LATE REGISTRATION:

*  6:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday August 17th at the King Physical Ed Center at Vernon College. 

*  starting at 6:00 a.m. day of the ride at the King Physical Ed Center at Vernon College.

Packets will include a T-shirt (guaranteed to the first 100 pre-registered riders only) and various other goodies!

Detailed course maps and some controlled intersections will be provided.  All courses will be well marked. 

REST STOPS will be approximately every 10 miles and will be well stocked with water, ice, sport drink, fruit and cookIes, 

ROAD ASSISTANCE will be provided by sag wagons for riders who can no longer continue the event.  Sags will not perform repairs or suppy parts, so be sure to come prepared.
