The Cursa de l'Alba Marathon is an endurance challenge with a demanding positive gradient that crosses the most emblematic trails of the Montserrat Natural Park. The race starts in Collbató, running through its streets before entering the massif and continuing to climb to the Coll de Can Rubió. From here, runners will enjoy the views from the Mirador de les Roques Blaves before tackling the climb to Capbrot de Rubió, where the mountain begins to show its most demanding side. The route continues towards Pont Estruc and Font de la Guineu, offering sections of trail surrounded by nature. The climb continues to the Ermita de Sant Miquel and the iconic Pas dels Francesos, approaching the equator of the test at El Cigronet. From here, the tough ascent begins to Sant Jeroni, the highest point of Montserrat, where the panoramic views reward the effort. The route continues along the Camell de Sant Jeroni and Montgròs, combining technical sections with demanding climbs to the Balma de les Pruneres and the Coll de Port. After passing through the Refugi Vicenç Barbé and the Coll de Guirló, the route enters a phase of continuous elevation changes until reaching the Forn de calç del Castell and the Hermitage of the Mare de Déu de la Font. In the last kilometers, the route crosses the magical Cova de les Bagasses, offering a final contact with history and nature before returning to the finish line in Collbató.
