Thousands of runners are invited to race on September 14th in Vilnius choosing from 6 different lengths for every experience. In addition, the marathon course is now one lap, so participants will not have to repeat the route. Starting together with half marathon runners, participants will form an incredibly colorful river of runners in the green streets of Vilnius – this is the view you won't forget!Trees in the Valakampiai and Vingis park and historical buildings in the city center will make the marathon run in the shade for more than 20k. It opens great possibilities for a fast and picturesque race.You can pick your distance: marathon, half marathon, 10k, 5k, 1k and 200m children's run.

Above all a lovely route, snaking through the historic district, the woods and along the river. It begins in the town cathedral square, right in the heart of Lithuania, with every amenity possible available. It's not flat but it's fast nonetheless, with pacers from 3:00 upwards. Pricing is fair and hotel options are manyfold. The start didn't feel crowded despite several thousand runners (it's mostly a popular run, few elites, therefore no jostling for a fast starting position).

This was my first time ever running a marathon, so I was very anxious about the whole thing. But as soon as I arrived to Vilnius on Saturday, there was this buzz and fun around which changed everything for me. On race day, I was supported and well looked after by their amazing team.
Route same as usual, but because it starts early, you can really enjoy running through the woods and by the river. Photographers take great photos so make sure you’re in the spotlight and strike the pose when you see one :) The only thing worth complaining about is the price for engraving the medal which I find atrocious - €9 and they don’t accept cards!
Undulating! Beautiful, varied route.reaaly madd an effort on the water stops and music stands. Such a lovely place and people.

Si parte ed arriva nel cuore di Vilnius . Bel percorso a volte tortuoso e con qualche breve salita. A metà gara si entra in una zona verde per poi uscire e percorrere il lungo fiume .

Fantastic race, beautiful course through the city and park. Well marshalled with good feed stations water, electrolytes and fruit. Fast course , highly recommended

I Love everything about Vilnius Marathon.
I Ran Marathon distance and 10km.
Lot of Hillary but was Great Routes, nice cool weather, Volunteers was great, water stations every 2.5k. Vilnius Marathon always did a great job on organizing the Event every Year and I been Running in the Event for 3 Years and was no disappointment.
Can't wait to run next Year!!
Sei giorni prima della gara causa piccolo infortunio ad un piede ho inviato una richiesta per poter passare dalla Maratona alla 10 km . Mi è stato rifiutato.
Quando poi ho chiesto di passare all’anno successivo mi hanno chiesto altri soldi .
