Freedom Run 5K - Chester

The Freedom Run 5K will return this year! Join us as we celebrate the 11th year for this race held in Chester, WV on July 4, 2024 at 9:00 am.  This event continues to grow each year and we anticipate another great turnout this July!

RUNNERS/WALKERS WELCOME

The race will start and finish at 817 Carolina Avenue in Chester, WV.

Register online or at the following locations:  Hancock County Savings Bank and Summit Physical Therapy in Chester 

Registration must be completed no later than June 19, 2024 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.  Registration will remain open at the designated locations and online through June 24th. You can also register the day of the race. Register early by June 24th or the cost of registration goes from $20 to $25 on race day.  Additional t-shirts will be given on a first come, first serve basis. 

Race packets/t-shirts can be picked up at Hancock County Savings Bank, Chester WV on July 3rd from 10:00am- 6:00pm to avoid waiting in line on race day! We strongly encourage early pick-up!

Awards will be given to the top 3 runners in each age group and top 3 walkers (males/females).

12 and under13-1920-2930-3940-4950-5960+Walker

Prize for most patriotic participant!

Participants should plan to arrive no later than 8:15 AM. Registration table will close promptly at 8:45 AM.
