Site M: Redacted introduces Springfield's first gravel race, set in the scenic Jim Edgar Panther Creek state conservation area. Participants will traverse rolling meadows, farmlands, and forest preserves with a mix of pavement and gravel. The event includes support and amenities such as SAG service, refreshment at the staging area, aid station access, and a post-ride meal. A prize purse is awarded across four categories, emphasizing support over profit with sponsorships enhancing rewards. This location offers beautiful vistas, rolling hills, and well-maintained courses. Facilities include nearby camping amenities and designated parking mostly reserved for Senior Games participants.
