Time: 5K at 8:45AM, *Kids 1K & 100 meter dash at 9:30AM
*Kids races are free, but waiver must be signed
Race Start: Veterans Memorial Park, Palisade, CO
Race Finish: Riverbend Park, Palisade, CO
Price: $35 for 5K Entry before 8/16*, Free for Kids 1K Entry
*Day-of in-person registration is $40 (cash or card)
Join the Grand Junction Sports Commission for the Just Peachy 5K presented by Grand Valley Primary Care Palisade (Community Hospital) on Saturday, August 19th. This fun 5K is great for families and beginners, but also a very fast course for those looking to PR. The race kicks off at 8:45am followed by the kids races at 9:30am.
Get a taste of downtown Palisade before entering beautiful Riverbend Park with great views of the Colorado River and Mount Garfield along the way. Race registration includes discount on peach festival access, an event t-shirt, finisher's medal, and more! Cash prizes to the top three overall male and female winners with age group awards as well. There will also be an opportunity to win prizes for the best costumes.
As if this race wasn’t sweet enough, we are excited to announce that proceeds will benefit the Palisade Fire and Police Departments!
