Ayia Napa Half Marathon

There is no communication. I tried contacting the organizers the days before the race and they were nowhere to be found. I am very disappointed with this race.

I was meant to run this race in 2020 but it appears that it was cancelled (although they talked about postponing it till January, it does not appear that that happened). I emailed the organisers to say I wanted to defer my entry till 2021 but got no response. Their website makes no reference to deferred entries. Poor!

Very Beautiful route

Chosen route for 5k was not a usual track for such distance race having 2 sharp and relatively long uphill runs, quite not a route for PBs. Race was not too crowded, in general, had a great time. Overall winner medals would have been more appropriate instead of age group awards.

Great route near the sea. Difficult however with elevations. Not many water stations. Uncrowded

Loved this run with two faults, a couple of points had no marshals and didn’t know where I was going and had to wait for someone behind me to tell me the way and the course was over 600 meters short. Other than that it was a great run and the medal was great.

It was only 20.4 kilometres

The route is for the half marathon is amazing with great scenery. Not an easy course with many ups and downs. I would suggest more control around the route as it is easy to 'cheat the system'. It's a shame not many people came around.

Route was 2 laps of an unimaginative route, 2 hills and 2 inevitable quick down stretches. Not a PB course. Timings changed of starts late on, didn't make sense but a minor issue. No overall winners medal, awards are given to age category winners only. No support on route which I'm ok with but it's off season so numbers entering are tiny and spectators even smaller so if you want support on route this isnt the race for you.

An interesting run, some uphills compensated by downhills to catch up, with a beautiful weather.Thanks to the organizers, volunteers and other runners who all made that day special.

Having to run twice the same loop is not always psychologically helping, and I wish that, like last year, in 2018, the 10 km will be a single loop.

First Marathon I’ve run and a great route around cape Greco enjoyed the whole thing.

Great distance with a hilly route which made the event even more challenging but throughly enjoyed.

Hilly course, very picturesque, not too crowded. A bit hectic in terms of organisation. 2 laps for full marathon.
