Walk/Run With ME

Join us for HELP of Door County's inaugural Walk/Run with Me event! This family-friendly affair, scheduled for October 5th, features a scenic 5k/2k trail walk/run set amidst the beautiful backdrop of Crossroads at Big Creek. Starting at 8 a.m. with a staggered start time and concluding at 11 a.m. As you cross the finish line, replenish your energy with refreshments and snacks, courtesy of HELP of Door County. Stay tuned for the announcement of the Anne Kok Social Justice Award, celebrating those who have made significant contributions to Social Justice within our community. Your participation not only promotes a healthy lifestyle but also extends a lifeline to survivors of domestic violence in our community and beyond. 1 in 3 individuals fall victim to domestic violence. To shed light on this alarming statistic, every third participant will receive a purple bib—a visual reminder of the widespread impact of this issue. Please register for this meaningful event to join us in solidarity with survivors. And don't worry—we haven't forgotten our youngest supporters! A free kids' fun run and engaging games will keep the little ones entertained while supporting a vital cause. Let's lace up our shoes, hit the trails, and make a difference together. See you at the starting line!   Overview  Packet pick-up will take place at HELP of Door County, 219 Green Bay Rd, Sturgeon Bay WI 54235 on OCT 4th between 5-6:30pm. Check-in at 7am October 5th Two course options: 2k Walk and 5k Trail Run Water stations will be stationed throughout the 5k route. In order to receive a T-Shirt, registration must be in by August 16th. Snacks and drinks are provided by HELP of Door County. Proceeds from the event will go towards survivors needs at HELP of Door County. Family friendly event   HELP of Door County's Mission is to eliminate domestic abuse through prevention and intervention services and to advocate for social change.
