The Caveman Run 5k is full of challenging and fun obstacles located at one of Wisconsin's historical parks, Cherney Maribel Caves County Park. The park offers caves, a playground, a picnic area, and hiking and biking trails. A new shelter was built with water filling station and bathrooms at the south end of the park. The beauty of the area makes it a popular tourist destination!
This 5K makes use of the natural terrain with man made obstacles (including a climbing wall and monkey bars) and everyone enjoys the final mud pit at the end of the run!
This is a family friendly event which features 1/2 mile obstacle course for kids. Parents can run with their child to support them. The Maribel Fire Department will help you rinse off after the run. Stay and enjoy a feast of paleolithic and regular plain ol' food.
