We're stoked on the 6th version of The Hibernator, welcoming all types of bikes and people, while wholeheartedly supporting our amazing local community! It goes beyond being just a gravel cycling event and embodies a grassroots, self-supported test of mental, physical, and spiritual fortitude that unites participants with lasting memories and sense of accomplishment. HBRN8R has always been about unplugging, finding yourself, hard work, community, friendships, and real feels. This year we are proud to donate proceeds to the Burke Mountain Clubhouse, a place that unites our community, offering a welcoming space for members to connect, belong, and collaborate on shared goals for the betterment of Burke and its surroundings.
Reverting to our original format from years past, we are celebrating all things dirt with one main harvest route (being revealed later this summer) that will be an equal challenge for gravel and mountain bikes. There will be a shorter option for those looking for less gnar, and the coveted 100k+ course for the type A riders focusing on maximum nourishment. During your ride, we'll keep your fire stoked at each feed zone with wood-fired maple syrup, our famous homemade pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, small-town community vibes, and let you recover at the finish line with delicious farm food and a Vermont beer bar.
Bring your old school bmx bikes, because we are throwing down a rad family-friendly bmx farm cross course Friday night next to an epic bonfire. On Sunday, Farmer Ben & Kim (landowners) will be leading educational nature walks in their forest for those who want to round out the weekend with ultimate happiness, or you're welcome to a recovery ride on the nearby dirt roads & trails.
Bring the family because camping is free ALL weekend (Friday - Sunday) with no reservations needed!
Spend the holiday weekend with us. Let's go!!
Sorry, NO refunds will be allowed. Transfers are accepted anytime.
"You are capable of more than you know. Choose a goal that seems right for you and strive to be the best, however hard the path. Aim high. Behave honorably. Prepare to be alone at times, and to endure failure. Persist! The world needs all you can give."
