Superhero 2-Mile Walk/Run

The Superhero Walk/Run welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels, encouraging a fun and energetic environment where costumes are optional. Aimed at promoting active lifestyles and healthy habits, especially among youth, the event emphasizes how everyone can embody superhero qualities in life. Adults play a crucial role in mentoring future superheroes through the YMCA and the Reach & Rise program. The event includes a competitive element with prizes for top finishers in various categories and outstanding costumes. Dogs, on leashes, are welcome, and a Best Dog Costume Contest adds to the festivities. Participation goes forward regardless of weather conditions.
