Stayin' Alive
What: A 6 hr MTB skills session held at The Dirt Disco
Why: Because mountain biking gets "awesomer" as you get better!
When: Sunday May 5th (10 am-3:30 ish pm)
Where: The Dirt Disco, Cazenovia, NY. See directions below PLEASE NOTE: make sure GPS takes you to the corner of Ridge and Maple Road in Cazenovia. Some peoples GPS send then to the wrong place! So check before you start driving. We are located very close to the intersection of Ridge Road and Maple Road in Cazenovia, the entrance to the disco is on Maple Road, there's a sign. Call me at 315-655-4620 if you get in a pickle!
Who: This class is for beginner riders or those not really new to the sport, but feel some structured instruction could help. If you think this might be you, it probably is! WE ALL CAN improve on the fundamentals. Shoot me a note if you want to discuss your fit with this class. The terrain/features at the Disco will be tiered to meet the current skill level of all participants. I have two rules:
1. You don't learn anything when you're afraid, you just survive and you have NO idea what you did, ZERO retention! Everything is done in a safe, comfortable manner that is commensurate with each rider's ability to ensure a productive and wicked fun day!
2. Have fun, no ego's at the disco!
Curriculum to include:
Body Position ( most important skill..." The Hips Don't Lie")
Braking
Trail Scanning
Cornering
Pressure Control
Rain or Shine event. If we experience extreme weather and a cancellation is required, you will receive a full refund
