Salem Summer Solstice 5/10K

The event is a fundraiser supporting the McKay HS Cross Country Team, held at Minto Brown Island Park. The courses offer a flat route in a scenic park setting, with the shorter course fully on paved trails, while the longer one features a small loop on an open trail. Participants get chip timing and a post-race ice-cream sundae. Walkers are welcome. There are restrictions on rollerblades, skateboards, dogs, and unregistered participants, though strollers are permitted. The event caps at 400 participants, with live packet pickup available. Club members receive entry fee discounts, and aid stations are provided.
