In the spirit of Recovery Month, Mercy Medical Center presents to you: Run for Recovery 5k!! This is a community engagement event that will bring together family, friends, providers, and other allies to those who are impacted by substance use.
From April 2020 - April 2021 there were 100,306 reported overdose deaths in the US. In Massachusetts 2,290 people lost their lives to overdose death in 2021.
At Mercy we seek to empower individuals to champion their own recovery. All proceeds of the event will go toward decreasing harm associated with using substances and reducing barriers to accessing treatment.
Come join various community organizations, treatment providers, and stakeholders who are dedicated to supporting this cause.

The Race will be held at Ashley Reservoir on September 17th, 2022 at 9:00AM
Enrollees also have the option make donations to the cause. Generous donations of $50 or more will provide opportunity for the donor to customize a mile marker to honor a loved one. Mile Marker Donations must be submitted by 9/2/22
