Ft Ebey and The Kettles trail system on Whidbey Island offers over 30 miles of single and double track trails with short steep climbs and lots of technical trails. Mussels in the Kettles lays out routes on these trails so you can come to test your skills. WIBC marks every turn with flagging and arrows so you go in the preferred direction. Mussels in the Kettles is the primary funding for trail work and bicycle advocacy performed by Whidbey Island Bicycle Club. Thank you for participating!

The course will be up and available to ride between the hours of 9:30 am and 2 pm on March 2th, 2024
Courses are marked with Green, Blue, and White flagging, three ribbons per intersection or turn. We also use direction arrows along the course to keep the flow of the right direction on the single track.
No check-in this year, when you arrive in Coupeville, you will have a bib assigned to you, you will park at the Coupeville High School, ride two blocks to the staging area pick up your bibs, socks, and fasteners. Once you are ready to ride you will goto the pre-staging area line up at the cone and we will release groups of 10 off at one-minute intervals.
Mussels in the Kettles will not provide any coffee, food, or water at the starting line. Halfway through the ride, we will have bottles of water and trail bars.
2024 will have no card stations no prizes this year, but will have homemade cookies, at the fire ring on the bluff.
