Schlitz Park Run by the River 5K

Schlitz Park's Run by the River features a unique route along the Milwaukee Riverwalk, through Brewer's Hill, and around the historic Schlitz Brewery. Started by Gary Grunau, the event has had a significant impact on the downtown scene, benefiting from both development and philanthropy. The event attracts over 500 participants, including individuals, teams, and community members, raising substantial funds for a selected beneficiary annually. The event now includes enjoyable features such as the Tap Yard Beer Garden, live music, and a Riverwalk marketplace, enhancing the overall experience for all attendees.
