Langkawi International Half Marathon

The wonderful experience starts upon landing at the airport, with marvelous Race Kit Collection area, food and refreshment etc. The route was very nice, not hilly and almost flat, pass through the traditional villages and paddy field. Trust me, you will get what you want from a running event.

This year will be my 3rd year joining Langkawi International Half Marathon the previous edition make me want to sign up again and again! such an awesome event! kudos to the organiser Langkawi Runners

1st edition I ran for 5km and the 2nd edition I ran Half Marathon!

One word. Prestige. That is how I rate Langkawi Half Marathon 2023. And I am pretty sure this year is gonna be huge and way more amazing than last year. Book your tickets now! Malaysia Airlines flight tickets are reasonably cheap!!!

Among the best half marathons I have followed so far. solid organizers. All can be said to be the best. I have decided that every year it is mandatory to participate in the event . 🤝🏻

A good and challenging route. But every time I participate I am still able to make a personal best. Best route 💯

Entered the HM category last year. It was well organised run with scenic route and also many activities to do on the island as well. The race kit and the medal were creative. Race route has sufficient water aids etc. would definitely run it again.

The HM route was very scenic, passing through paddy fields and quaint villages. Not totally flat but nothing too hilly.

The event was truly amazing, filled with island vacation vibes. The race pack was impressive, and attendees enjoyed live music, relaxing by the seaside, good coffee, coconuts, and great bargains at the sport booths. Race day was even more spectacular, with a grand and lively flag-off hall. The route offered stunning views of paddy fields, and the well-organized water stations were appreciated by all. Crossing the finish line back at the hall was incredibly satisfying. Definitely one of the best events in Malaysia!

I’ll write my review in pointers. 1. Well organised. One of a kind setup, finisher t-shirts, event space, etc. You name it, on point! 2. Takes place in the beautiful island of Langkawi. Flat routes, most of my friends manage to run their best pace here.
