Join us for the 2021 Danville RiverRun 5k on Sunday, October 3 in Danville, Virginia with a 2:00pm race start.
Participants will take part in a premier event hosted by the Piedmont Pacers Track Club.
This event is part of the Piedmont Masters Running series where result will go towards the 2021 Series.
Runners will enjoy an exciting running atmosphere at one of the areas best riverside greenways!
Many awards are on the line including overall, masters, teams and 3-deep in each age-category by gender.

Schedule:
- Packet pickup and late registration at Anglers Park Shelter #21: 1:00pm - 1:50pm
- 5k race start: 2:00pm
- Virtual Awards ceremony: On or about 3:00pm
- End of event: 4:00pm
Course Details:
- An exciting down and back 5 Kilometer (3.1 mile) path using the Riverwalk (paved path) - Water at the turnaround - The race path is a public course so runners will need to be mindful of others on the trail including cyclists, runners and walkers Awards:
- Top-three male & female overall
- Ten-year age-groups top-three male & female (1-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90-99, 100+)
- Team awards for top-three fastest combined teams (top 4 runners with fastest time on a team) - Results go towards the Piedmont Masters Running series for 2021 year-end awards Race Fees: - Now to September 20: $25.00 - September 21 to October 2: $35.00 - Race Day in-person only, October 3: $45.00 Other Details: - Registration, race memento, post-race refreshments and parking at Anglers Park Shelter #21 - Members of the Piedmont Pacers get a 10% discount and there is an option to join the team as a new member during registration - Pets and runners with strollers are unfortunately not allowed to compete in this event due to safety reasons - Please maintain social distancing and follow CDC guidelines - Race is subject to change in light of current events. If the event is for any reason cancelled refunds will be issued
