Start of the 2021 Carlisle Old Home Day festivities by joining us on Saturday, June 26 for the 5-mile and/or 1-mile road races. Run with your fellow Carlislians and earn those pancakes!
Baby joggers are permitted, but for safety reasons you will be asked to start at the back of the pack. NO DOGS ALLOWED!
Eligibility: In order to be eligible for award(s), a runner must be officially registered and must be a current or former Carlisle resident, a family member of a current or former Carlisle resident, a current or former Town of Carlisle employee, or a family member of a current or former Town of Carlisle employee. If you do not meet these eligibility requirements, you can still register for and run the race but you will not be eligible to win any awards or break any race records.
Race Courses
Both the 5-mile and 1-mile races start and finish at the entrance to the Carlisle Village senior housing at 145 Church Street.
5-mile road race begins on Church Street and runs down the hill past Spalding field to end of Church Street, runners bear right on Bedford Road, take 2nd left after Carlisle Auto Body onto Maple Street, at intersection of Maple and East Street, runners turn left onto East Street and head back to rotary, take second right off rotary onto Concord Street and just past Town Green runners turn left on Church Street and head cross the finish line in the same place where they started the race.
1-mile road race begins on Church Street and runs down the hill past Spalding field to end of Church Street, runners bear left on Bedford Road and head back to rotary, runners take third right off rotary onto Concord Street, just past Town Green runners turn left on Church Street and cross the finish line in the same place where they started the race.
Event details and schedule:
5 Mile Race starts at 7:15am
1 Mile Race starts at 8:15am
Cost*: Adults $18 online ($25 with paper registration in-person after 12:00 midnight on June 24), Youth (19 years old and younger) $12 online ($20 with paper registration in-person after 5:00pm on June 24)
Two separate registration fees are required if you want to run both the 5-mile and 1-mile races.
Online Pre-registration: Opens Monday, June 14 and closes Thursday, June 24 at 12:00 midnight.
Paper Pre-registration and Early Number Pick up: Friday, June 25 from 5:30 - 7:00pm at Ferns Patio in Carlisle Center.
Day of Race Registration and Number Pick up: Saturday, June 26 between 6:00 and 7:00am at Carlisle Road Race Table on Church Street, Just inside the Carlisle Public School parking lot (near start of race).
