DESCRIPTION
Brighter Days: A Holistic Approach to Suicide Prevention In the African American Community- Memorial Rally & Walk is a family-friendly event to bring suicide awareness in the African American community. Brighter Days is an Initiative of Center for Holistic Development (CHD). CHD is a nonprofit that focuses on helping individuals relieve emotional and psychological pain, make behavioral changes that facilitate growth, increase self-awareness and self-knowledge, which lead to healthy living.
PURPOSE
To come together as a community, promote #brighterdays and hope for the future, and to #endthetrend of suicide. All proceeds will be for the purpose of prevention services, awareness efforts, and postvention support within the African American community for individuals who have lost loved ones to suicide.

Time: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

How much does it cost?
$30 per person. Participants can register as a group of any size and pay only $300. So, if you register a group of 15, you will pay only $20, and if you register a group of 20, you will only pay $10 per person.
