Bob Gurtler Memorial 5K Run/Walk

This event honors Bob Gurtler, an esteemed former mayor, chemical engineer, and dedicated runner who actively supported the running community. He inspired many new runners and passionately advocated for health and well-being. The event commences at Grace Episcopal Church in the Plains, Va., following a course through the town and onto Hopewell road before returning to the church finish line. All proceeds benefit the local food pantry, Peas & Grace.
