Alex's Duck Duck Run

Runners and walkers can enjoy a scenic course alongside the St. Joseph River and two Lake Michigan beaches, traversing Silver Beach, Lions Park Beach, and the Howard Recreational Trail. The event is marked by excitement as participants pass through the Whirlpool Compass Fountain, starting and finishing at the Margaret Upton Arboretum. Children enjoy a non-competitive fun run on a safe, paved route, joined by enthusiastic volunteers and supportive parents. Participants receive a race bib, rubber duck award, and t-shirt. Proceeds support The Alex Mandarino Foundation, funding research for neuroblastoma and rare pediatric cancers.
