Spooky Sprint - Pike Road

**SOLD OUT!!** As of Friday, Oct. 20th, the race capped out at 200 participants. Since this is our first year we are limiting registrations. Looking forward to seeing you! (We will not turn people away. If you show up and want to run you certainly can, you just will not receive a bib number or t-shirt.)

Join us for Pike Road Show Choir's first ever fundraising 5K! Run, walk, or dance your way through this spooktacular event to support the Pike Road Schools Choir Department. Through Show Choir, Concert Choir, and other performance opportunities, we are committed to sharing our love of music with the community! Funds raised through this event will go to support over 150 vocal music students at The GW campus and help to continue their love of music. Get crafty and creative or better yet, compete in costume! Awards for best consume in the following categories: pet, celebrity, princess, superhero, rockstar, group, original, and scary. 
 
Medals will be awarded as follows: 1st overall, 1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall Male and Female finishers; 1st, 2nd, 3rdOverall Teen Girls and Teen Boys; 1st, 2nd, 3rd Kids (12 & under)
Participants who register before Sept 28th will be guaranteed a race t-shirt. Thereafter t-shirts will be first come first serve until we run out. 
Morning-of registration is available from 6:30 - 7:40am. Please see the Check-In tent for payment (Venmo or cash). 

The course will be well marked. In the final leg of the race, you have the option to continue on the traditional path or veer from the standard course into a zombie-infested course. Test your speed, endurance and strength while trying to avoid ravenous zombies! Runners will have flags that represent their health. Zombies will try to steal those flags Runners must make it to the finish line with at least one flag or become apart of the walking dead! Be sure to indicate if you want to participate in the zombie route at packet pickup!
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to have some family fun, get some exercise, and support the local community, so come join us for an unforgettable day of fitness and fear at the Spooky Sprint 5K run/walk!  
 
Start time: 8am - start and finish at the Pavilion. Cut off time is one hour. We will begin the awards ceremony at 9am.
Distance: 3.1 miles
 
Cost: $20 until Sept 28th // $25 until Oct 26th // and $35 on Oct 27th and 28th. Kids 4 & under are FREE. Online registration closes 10/26 @ 8am but you may register at packet pick up and in person at the race beginning at 6:30am. (Venmo and cash accepted)
