- Cat 3/35+ scored as 1 field

- Cat 4/5, 50+ scored as separate fields

- No separate women's field but women can also race in any of the men’s fields (sorry but after trying for 5 years with never more than 6 women, we need a different approach. If women can gather 15 buddies to race, we will add a day-of event .. at no extra charge!)

Series Scoring: Top 8 places score points. 1=10, 2=8, 3=6, 4=5, 5=4, 6=3, 7=2, 8=1 with a 2 place points prime at halfway sprint: 1st=2 points, 2nd=1 point

Fees: $30 via BikeReg w/ $10 for a second race. $40 day of registration

3. New category set-up is done to encourage racing twice/day (get strong, get fast!)

Prizes: Merchandise or $$s for 1st,2nd,3rd. Primes vary from money to merchandise. Series winners receive Castelli jackets. Series prizes to top 3 in each category

DIRECTIONS:

Races held in the Scarborough Industrial Park (1.3 mile oval)

From Portland & North … take I-295 south to Exit 2 (Scarborough/Route 1 South). Proceed 5 miles down Rte 1 then make a left onto Lincoln Ave (Holy Donuts on the corner). Make a left on Washington Ave and proceed to start/finish area

From Kittery and South … take I-95 North to exit 42 (Scarborough). Go straight through light after tollbooth (Payne Road) onto Haigis Parkway to Route 1. Cross Rte 1 into Lincoln Avenue. Make left at Washington Avenue and proceed to start/finish area
