Route
The route is along the Old Historic Columbia River Highway 30, which spans from Troutdale to The Dalles. This section of trail is otherwise known as the “Twin Tunnels Trail”! It has spanning views of the Columbia River, looking over onto Washington. It is surrounded by hovering cliffs of moss, spectacular geology, wildflowers, and stunning beauty. The trail itself is wide and paved, making it ADA accessible and easy for strollers, bikes and dogs to access. This trail is still open to the public at the time of the event.
The trail has a very slight, gradual incline and decline. This is an “out-and-back” course for the purpose of our event! For more information on the trail, click here!
Please note: there are multiple entrances to this trail.
Our event starts at the MARK O. HATFIELD TRAILHEAD (WEST ENTRANCE) in HOOD RIVER, OR.
