Namaqua Quest Mountain Bike Stage Race

The Namaqua Quest 3-day Trail Run and Mountain Bike events are held in the renowned Namakwa region of the Northern Cape in South Africa. Namakwa is famous for its flower-covered valleys, rugged mountains, ancient canyons, and plains teeming with wildlife such as Gemsbok, Zebra, and Springbok. Witness nature's enchanting display of color and beauty during the world's largest and most spectacular natural flower show in early September in Namakwa.

During the event, participants will have the opportunity to cycle or run in three different areas over the course of three days. These routes will take them through private property, game reserves, and communal farms. On the first day, they will explore the flower-covered Copper mountains and the historic copper trail near the town of Okiep, known for its rich copper mining history. The following day, they will venture into the Goegap Nature Reserve, where they may encounter various wildlife species including Gemsbok, Springbok, Eland, Ostriches, and smaller antelopes. On the final day, participants will have the chance to cycle or run through a private farm located just outside Springbok, experiencing the famous granite koppies of Namakwa adorned with
