Date:                    March 23, 2024  Held Under USA Cycling Event Permit 2023-8490   Race held rain or shine

Time:                    Registration booth open at 7:30AM and closes 15 min. prior to race. Sorry, NO REFUNDS

                              Registration is located just behind starting line at the intersection of Tait and Nicholson

Directions:          Hwy 17/880 South from San Jose. Take the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno (Hwy 9) Exit. Turn left on N. Santa 

                              Cruz Avenue. Go three blocks to Nicholson. Turn right to start/finish.

Parking:               Racers and visitors, please do not park in any merchant lots!! Please use the Park & Ride lot north of 

                              Highway 9, public lots, and the street parking outside of the course. Be careful about parking time limits!

Course:                Same course as always with newly laid concrete! Tait-Bean-Massol-Nicholson/Ellenwood-Belmont-Bachman-Tait, clockwise one-mile loop with the Start/Finish line at Tait and Nicholson. One very steep

                              Climb (23%), five 90° right turns and one 90° left turn. Free lap rule applies; bring your own wheels.

Registration:      Registration will be available on BikeReg.com. Pre-registration closes at 5pm Wednesday, March 20, 2024. 

                              Onsite registration is available on race day if fields are not full, $10 day-of surcharge. Cash or check only. 2nd race qualifies for a discounted registration fee of $15, applied to lower cost race. Race registration opens at 7:30AM and closes 15 minutes before each scheduled race start. Rules:                   Held rain, shine or anything in between. Current USAC license required and is available online. One-day license will also be available for $15. Waivers must be signed prior to race. Must compete in same category in Santa Cruz Classic to be eligible for Omnium. Winners of Omnium categories will receive a winner’s jersey, sponsored by Jakroo!

Notes:                  *District and National champion fees will not be waived. **Please no warming up on course! Entry fee includes $1.50 NCNCA fee and $5.05 USAC fee.

Prizes:                  Merchandise/gift certificates except Pro/1/2/3 Women Pro/1/2 men prizes will be 100% cash

Bold face indicates Omnium-eligible category. Must compete in same category in Santa Cruz Classic Criterium to be eligible for the omnium. There are two Cat 4 races; the 10:10 race is the Omnium-eligible race.

*Indicates a combined race with fields scored separately. 

‡ Indicates inclusion in the NCNCA Premier Series. You must race in the indicated race for double BAR points. W3 racers racing in the Pro/1/2/3 race will not be eligible for W3 Premier Series points.
