The Valley To the Sea Half Marathon 5K/10K – with spectacular views through the most beautiful setting in the world. It’s an entire event filled with competition and fun starting with the Half Marathon, 10k and 5k and ending when you cross the finish line at one of the most beautiful beaches on Maui. All courses are beautiful with an ocean view to die for. If that doesn’t motivate you to be in this event nothing will.

This is a nice race with great views of the sunrise as you are coming down from Iao Valley on the island of Maui and run to the beaches in Kihei. This years course took us on the beach for about .04 miles, so you will truly run from the Iao Valley to the Sea. The first couple miles are downhill and the there is a gradual slight incline for the majority of the course until the last four miles, which are downhill to the beach run.
