Despite the intense and challenging conditions, including the scorching heat and treacherous terrain, the Ko Chang 100 is committed to providing top-notch support. The medical team, supported by the National Park Rescue Team, sweepers, and local volunteers, are stationed along the course to respond swiftly to any emergencies. There have been instances where runners required assistance, including cases of severe cramps and injuries, but the efficient rescue operations, including stretcher evacuations through dense forests, demonstrated the high level of preparedness for such challenges. This ensured that runners in need received immediate care and were safely escorted back to the start/finish area or transported to Bangkok-Trat Hospital for further treatment.
