Jasper Main Street Shamrock Shake

Introducing JMS' Shamrock Shake, a 5K, 1 Mile Fun Run and Kids Leprechaun Dash in Historic Downtown Jasper. Fun for all ages, this event will be filled with luck, laughter and live music. Dress up in your best Shamrock and Leprechaun outfits for this afternoon of fun and enjoy live music on the Courthouse Square. This is a pet-friendly event, so dress up your pup for a friendly competition.  Stay in Downtown after the race for drink specials from Warehouse 319 with registrant armbands. Proceeds to benefit Jasper Main Street's Town Creek Development project. Trolley on Main will be making restaurant stops throughout Downtown Jasper for registered participants (armband required).   Race Day Location – Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 4:00 pm

Pre-Race Registration and Packet Pick up: Friday, March 15th 3pm to 7pm Warehouse 319, 221 19th Street West, Jasper, Alabama, 35501 If you plan to register on-site: Registration will be Cashless (PayPal only), please plan to register prior to arriving to speed up the packet pickup process.  Race Day Registration & Packet Pick-up – Saturday, March 16th 1:00 to 3:30 pm Race Registration Tent - Walker County Courthouse Square   What is included in your Race Entry Fee: $35 each Race T-shirt - The first 90 to register will receive an event t-shirt. Register early to get the size you want. (Shirt sizes not guaranteed) Race Bib Glow/Bead Necklace Swag bag Green Wristband - One entry to the post-race party at Warehouse 319 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run Entry Fee Information  Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/adult guardian signature to participate. Children under the age of 7 may participate at no charge and will NOT receive an event t-shirt or a race bib.
NOTE: You will need to bring a valid State-issued ID (driver's license) to receive an age 21+ wristband for the post-race event. The 21+ wristband is required to receive age 21+ beverages from Warehouse 319.   FREE Kids Leprechaun Dash 5PM ·        For children age 6 and under ·        Run from 2nd Avenue to 3rd Avenue and back (2 blocks) ·        Participants will not receive an event t-shirt ·        Registration is not required   A Digital Photobooth will be available throughout the event.   Parking: Free Parking is available throughout Downtown Jasper. Public Parking Lots are available on 2nd Avenue behind Pinnacle Bank, at 2nd Avenue and 20th Street, on 4th Avenue behind Young Jewelers, and on 4th Avenue across from City Hall Annex. Pet Policy: Pets are encouraged! 5:30 - Race Course is Closed 5:30PM – Awards ·        5K – 1st, 2nd & 3rd place ·        1 Mile Fun Run - 1st, 2nd & 3rd place ·        FREE Kids Leprechaun Dash ·        Best Dressed ·        Cutest Pet Award   Water Stop Stations: Water stop locations will be at the start line/finish line, and halfway mark on the 5K, on 8th Avenue in the parking lot across from the Bankhead House & Heritage Center. Strollers at the Race: If you are participating with a stroller and/or children, we ask that you keep your children with you at all times and that you start from the back of the starting line. This will allow your family members, and our other participants, a safer race experience. Trolley on Main: Trolley on Main will be making a scheduled route throughout Downtown Jasper to participating restaurants between 5PM and 7PM. Cancellation Statement: Your entry fee is non-refundable. This event will occur warm or cold. A rainy forecast will be evaluated by event organizers. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds, rather, your entry fee will be used as a donation to Jasper Main Street’s Town Creek Development Project.
Transfer of Registration Policy: Your entry fee is non-refundable. Participants can transfer their online registration (Online Only) until March 1, 2024. Waiver Forms: All 5K & 1 Mile Participants must sign a Waiver form in order to race.  Waiver is included in the online registration process. For walk-up registration, Waivers will need to be signed at the registration table.
Participants over 21 will also receive a green wristband for adult beverages that will be available for purchase at Warehouse 319.
