Grant's Cause for Spina Bifida 5K

This years event is sure to be a crowd pleaser!  We have moved to the beautiful Waterfall Park in Independence! This park is conveniently located off of 70 & 291 Hwy near many shops and restaurants and is nestled between Bass Pro Shop, a relaxing waterfall and overlooking view of water.  Many fun things for the whole family to enjoy again this year! 

Grant's Cause is a non-for-profit that benefits children diagnosed with Spina Bifida.  These children often undergo surgeries, therapies, and need medical equipment or supplies.  Through the funds raised from sponsors, participants and donars we are able to find these young children and help with their medical expenses or travel associated with.  In the last 6 years we have been able to help several families and raise over $10,000 a year and look forward to growing our amazing event and helping more families across the country starting here in Kansas City! 

All participants receive a race t-shirt or tank top per their chose.  WE love to spoil the kids at our event so lots of fun things for them to enjoy and finishers medals for all kids that participate in the Fun Run!
