This best of small-town festivals offers fun for everyone. Join us to celebrate family, friends, and heritage, and that delectable, orange vegetable that makes Golden THE Sweet Potato Capital of the World!
The festival offers non-stop fun: livestock competition, pageants, mutton bustin’, 5K run, parade, horseshoe tournament, baking and photography contests, live and silent auctions, dance, and a special appearance from Miss Texas. Whew!
Race check-in: 7:00 AM First Methodist Parking lot. Look for the ALBA-GOLDEN Panther Athletic Tent
Race time: 7:30 AM
First, Second, Third Place overall awards will be given out. Hope you like sweet potatoes *wink *wink
Free Tshirt for all those that sign up. ALL proceeds go to the JH Natl Honor Society and Cross Country Program
