Join the City of Valor 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run in Leeds, Alabama, a tribute to the brave veterans and heroes who have fought for our country. The run takes you through the historic downtown streets, honoring their sacrifice. The race starts at 8:00 a.m., with both races following the same route for the first half mile before splitting off. The 5K race is chip timed, with prizes for top finishers. Fun Run participants will receive a finishing medal. The event is pet and stroller friendly, with every runner getting a long sleeve dry-fit shirt. Packet pickup is available on race day at the Leeds Historic Depot. An awards ceremony and pancake breakfast will follow the race.
