Chautauqua Gran Fondo

The tenth annual Chautauqua Gran Fondo, Saturday, August 17, 2024, is a community event designed to promote health and well being for cyclists of all skill levels while raising funds for local non-profit organizations.

Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Chautauqua Lake and it's surrounding historic destinations on one of 5 scenic routes. There will be plenty of rest stops, photo ops, and full SAG support on the road. All participants are invited to join the after-party, with music, good food, and drinks!

Various road route distances and the new trail option make this a perfect event for any level rider.  Each road route will direct riders through a number of notable historic destinations around Chautauqua Lake and the surrounding County. Refreshments and snacks will be available at various rest stops / aid stations along the routes. Each cyclist should carefully choose their desired route, taking into account their fitness and skill level as well as determination before setting off from Mayville. There is the 20-Mile Route, the 40-Mile Route, the 60-Mile Route, the 100-mile route, and the 25-mile trail route.

Fully supported ride with SAG services, well stocked rest stops / aid stations, and portable restrooms along the way.

This charity event will be supporting the CRMA/Chautauqua Region Music Alliance, THE CRÈCHE, INC., Bemus Point/Stow Ferry, Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue, Northlake Family Recreation, and the Mayville Library.
