BZ Classic 5K

Welcome to the 4th Annual BZ Classic 5K!  As a reminder, the BZ Classic 5K is the new race to replace the historical Elk County Classic.  This race is sponsored by the Elk County Striders, and is to honor Mr. Ben Zappa who is one of the founding members of the Striders' club back in 1983.  This 5k runs along the Clarion-Little Toby rail-trail in historic Ridgway, PA.  Each pre-registered entrant will receive a race shirt if pre-registered by July 3rd.   Awards to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd in each male and female age group.  Pre-registration is $25.  There will be NO RACE-DAY REGISTRATION.

Here are a few simple things:

1)  Depending on number of participants, runners will be sent out in waves.  Timing chips will be disposable, so there is no need to turn them in post-race.

2)  Packets will contain bibs, pins, timing chips, and t-shirt.

3)  As mentioned above, there is no race-day registrations.  No exceptions.
