The Algarve Bike Challenge is a demanding yet rewarding 3-day stage race. With a fresh new route each edition, it’s a great test of endurance, resolve and skill with the staggering beauty of the Algarve’s sunshine landscape set as the perfect antidote to the physical and mental demands of off-road racing. Solo or in Two-person teams, top elite riders and ambitious amateurs alike, explore the seemingly endless, amazing trails, staying overnight in double rooms in Tavira by the sea – an unforgettable Portuguese experience!

Tavira has proved to be the perfect host city for an event as the Algarve Bike Challenge. For the next edition we will maintain the headquarters in this marvelous city and we will continuing to offer the top quality services that make this event so popular, with excellence in accommodation, security, outstanding scenic trails and all the particular details prepared by the Organization which makes the Algarve Bike Challenge so unique and special.

In this event, the Organization take care of all details for the riders and companions during their stay in Tavira, Algarve. From accommodation in 4 star hotels, to the tasty and delicious Portuguese cuisine, race preparation, massage, companion activities and of course the race participation. Deluxe services that have delighted the participants along this editions among the amazing region natural beauty and the epic thrilling courses.

Destaques do percurso
The prologue takes place on Friday night in the historic centre of the city. The narrow streets around the Castel and the different churches of the city will lead you to the amazing end of this stage at the Town Hall. The stages on Saturday and Sunday start from the Roman Bridge of Tavira and will take you to a very natural and genuine Algarve, where you will find beautiful rivers, fantastic single tracks, small villages still inhabited by Algarvians who take care of their land as their ancestors taught them. At the end of each stage, you can count on a very relaxing atmosphere in the official hotels of this event. You will meet participants from several countries and will share with them the love for this sports during the rock concert on Friday or the dinner on Saturday. This is also a good event to bring your family to support you on this adventure and get to know the best of this city including the museums or the restaurants with amazing Portuguese food and wine!
