Get ready for some wintertime fun on Saturday, December 2 for the 3rd annual Glühwein Gallop 5k Run/Walk! This event starts at 9:00am during the Carmel Christkindlmarkt festivities at Carter Green.
Participants will run along this exciting course, which goes by the Palladium, along the Monon Trail, through the Carmel Arts & Design District and past the shops on Main Street, before finishing back at the market
The Glühwein Gallop draws its name from the German word Glühwein (pronounced 'glue vine'), which translates to Glowing Wine in English. Glühwein is a delicious mulled wine that is served warm in different flavors. Glühwein and its special mugs are one of the biggest attractions each year at Christkindlmarkt.
NEW FOR 2023...we are excited to announce that mugs can be purchased for an additional $6 during event registration! These mugs can be picked up AFTER you finish the race.
