Rebel Run 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run

The Maverick Miles 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run is open to our community!  Maverick Miles is hosted by the Douglas S. Freeman Athletic Booster Club. All proceeds benefit the athletic program and student athletes of Douglas Freeman High School. The 5k will begin and end at Freeman HS with the course covering the surrounding neighborhoods. The 1 Mile Fun Run, for elementary school students who choose not to participate in the 5K,  will take place on the Freeman Track, just prior to the start of 5K. The 1 Mile Fun Run will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m., with the 5K starting immediately after.  

NEW for 2024!!  1 mile Run/Walk option for adults which will begin right after all the runners leave the track!
