NYSMTB Series Helderberg Cliffhanger

Capital Bicycle Racing Club is putting on our second annual Mountain Bike Race at Thatcher Park in Voorheesville. (Round 5 of the NYS MTB Series)  Join us Sunday, June 18 Registration opens at 7:30am.  First race kicks off at 9am. This park provides beautiful scenery of the escarpments, stunning waterfalls as well as great terrain for mountain biking.    The course is slightly different this year with the changed of direction. We start out with a short running start to your bike, before we head into the single track down the hill past the Pavilion. This is where the course takes us up the gravel road for a long steady climb to cliffhangers point. From then the course will take Single track to the root section down through the pump track. This year we are trying a team relay, this is strictly for fun and to get more people involved that might not normally race. This race will be handicapped for teams with non-racers.  Come out and join the fun with friends and family we will have food provided by food truck and prizes for all the riders.
