YMCA Spring Chicken 5k

Start your Spring off right! Spring into fitness with the YMCA’s annual 5k walk/run open to all ages. All proceeds benefit the YMCA  Annual Campaign which supports the Y’s mission to strengthen our community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. At the Y, we believe that lasting personal and social changes can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health, and our neighbors. Every day, we work to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. 

This race is part of the Rockford Road Runners Circuit.

Awards to Top Overall Female and Male and 1st through 3rd in each age group.  Age groups are: 1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

Must Register by April 28, 2023, to receive a T-shirt. T-shirt Not guaranteed if registered after 4/28/2023.

Packet Pick-up Friday, May 5th, 5:00-6:45 PM or Race Day 7:30 - 8:45 AM.
