Woodland Creek Memorial Day 5k

Welcome or welcome back to Woodland Creek’s 2nd Annual Memorial Day 5K Run/Walk! What an awesome turnout we had last year. We are very excited for an even better race this year! This exciting charity event is open to participants of all ages and fitness levels, and promises to be a fun-filled day for the entire family. All proceeds will go to River Region Trails. We want to see Pike Road grow to become a thriving, active, outdoor community and what better way to kickstart that than to support this non-profit! As per the survey we put out after last year's race, we will be hiring a chip company to time the race for more age brackets and medals! Participants who register before May 1st will be guaranteed a race t-shirt. Thereafter t-shirts will be first come first serve until we run out. Online registration will close 48 hours before start time. In-person registration is open during packet pickup (Saturday 10-12am and Sunday 2-4pm) and morning-of registration is available 6:30am - 7:30am. Please see the Check-In tent for payment (Venmo or cash). The course will be well-marked and police presence will be at the entrance outside the Lodge to direct traffic. The course remains exactly the same however this year the it will go counter clockwise instead of clockwise. EMS will also be present in case of an emergency. We have partnered with over 20 local businesses for door prizes for the raffle after the event (ticket included with registration). A beer ticket will also be included in each 21+ yr old registrants packet for refreshment post race. A professional photographer will be shooting the event and there will be a "step and repeat" backdrop for photo ops and there will be a bounce house for the littles!

Start time: 8am  - start and finish at the Lodge. Cut off time is one hour. We will begin the awards ceremony at 9am and the raffle to follow.

Distance: 3.1 miles

Cost: $20 until April 30th // $25 until May 25th // $35 on May 26th & 27th. Kids 4 & under are FREE

Packet pickup dates & location: Saturday May 25th 10am-12pm & Sunday May 26th 2-4pm @ the Lodge

Parking: No parking in the parking lot please! Please park along Crescent Lodge Drive (in front of the dog park).
