About This Activity:
This event is setup and organized for runners who like to train and race outside during the tough winter months. If you are intimidated by ice, snow, wind or mud this race is not for you.
All races will begin at the same time. All runners will start within the city limits making their way out onto the beautiful Isabella county roads. This is the 17th year the event has been hosted. All events will feature finisher medals in 2024 and top 3 runners in each age group will receive awards based on each race theme.
Race Location:
We will be meeting at the start / finish location on race day for races. (O'Kelly is no longer being used)
In 2024 Race Parking for the race will be at McLaren Fitness, 2600 Three Leaves Dr, Mt. Pleasant, MI.
The actual Start/Finish will be on the paved path parallel to Denison Dr which is a short walk from McLaren Fitness.
Please be aware we will try to have a port-a-potty on site and there are no facility options at McLaren Fitness.
Packet Pickup Information:
Sunday Pick Up & Late Registration (Cash only - no guarantee of giveaway) at the start / finish location only will be from 7:00 am to 8:45 am.
2024 Winter Warrior Race Dates:
Snowmans event: Sunday, January 14th, 2024
IceCube event: Sunday, February 11th, 2024
MudDog event: Sunday, March 10th, 2024
Single Race Entry Gift:
Snowmans event: Snowman race theme hat and race pint glass
IceCube event: IceCube race theme gloves and race pint glass
MudDog event: MudDog race theme long sleeve t-shirt and race pint glass
Race Series entry (3 races sign up prior to 1st race): Mud Dog Hoodie picked up at the last race.
Post Race Food:
Water will be available on course for the 10K and Half-marathon and after the race at the start / finish location.
Age Group Awards:
Top 3 in each age group of each distance for each gender will receive awards.

Start Time:
All races start at 9:00 am
Awards:
There will not be announced awards. Results will be posted as soon as possible at the RunSignUp results page and at the start / finish area. Awards will be handed out at the start finish area as soon as they are available.
Finish Line/Timing:
The finish line will remain open until 12:00 PM. After 3 hours the course and finish line will be closed. If you feel that you can't complete your half in 3 hours (15 min. pace) then please make sure to notify a race official before starting and come prepared with a way of getting your own time. Times over 3 hours can be added to the results by emailing them to the race director.
