Watkins Mill Get Outdoors 6K

Join us as Watkins Mill Association presents the 10th Annual Get Outdoors 6.6k benefiting Watkins Woolen Mill State Park and Historic Site. 

The Get Outdoors Day 6.6K trail circles the 100-acre Williams Creek Lake inside historic Watkins Mill State Park. The track is certified and offers a peaceful run through a canopy of well-preserved native woods. For those who need a slower pace, there are several resting places around the lake.

Each race package includes a WMA 6k T-shirt, Runners Bib, and Medal. Each entry ticket will also include 2 passes for a guided tour of Watkins Woolen Mill and House.

The race will begin at 8 a.m., but please arrive by 7 a.m. for the check-in process. 

- $35 If registered by Sept. 15th (shirt included)
- $40 If registered after Sept. 15th (shirt not included)
- $45 If registered on the day of the race (shirt not included)
- Ages 5-12 may register for $30 with a complete race package
- Children under 5 are FREE (shirt not included)

Two options for race packet pick up:
1.) Friday, Sept. 29th, 6-7 PM at MO Sports - 9767 N Cedar Ave, Kansas City, MO 64157
2.) Saturday, Sept. 30th, 7 AM, before the race at Watkins Mill State Park

Watkins Mill Association is a Friends organization of Watkins Mill Woolen State Park and State Historic Site. This landmark provides essential information about work and life in the 1800s and the history of the Industrial Revolution in rural Missouri. We are dedicated to preserving and supporting the historic site. Our 10th Annual Get Outdoors 6K event is on September 30th. This event encourages healthy, outdoor fun for all ages.
