Join us as we revitalize Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue's "Wagging Down Main 5k"! We are excited to bring the community together to raise funds benefiting the homeless dogs of Rutherford County. Every dollar we raise helps save lives!
Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue is a nonprofit organization that utilizes forward thinking programs to rescue dogs and cats, advocate for shelter animals, and provide education for the community. Our team is made up of passionate and dedicated individuals who work tirelessly to improve the lives of homeless animals. We can't wait to spend the morning with you!
Grab your best furry friend and join us downtown Forest City as we raise funds for our animal rescue and raise awareness about the homeless animal issue in our area and all of the resources we offer to help with those problems. The event will begin and end at POPS (Pavilion on Park Square).
**This event is NOT timed.**
While this event is posted as non-competitive, prizes will be available for top finishers (1st, 2nd, and 3rd). Finisher medals will be available for all paid participants.
This event is open to runners and walkers of all ages. Dogs are welcome at this event as long as they are friendly toward other dogs and people.
Event shirts are guaranteed with registration until September 10th.
