WHAT TO EXPECT

The course takes you along the Legacy Trail, a beautiful, paved trail that stretches from Venice to Sarasota, winding through the natural beauty of Southwest Florida, with its diverse landscapes, unique ecosystems and the stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out, this event has something to offer for everyone with both Half Marathon and 5k options.

But the fun doesn't stop at the finish line! Venice is a charming town known for its natural beauty, a rich history and a laid-back atmosphere.  After the race, treat yourself to a well-deserved meal at one of the many seafood restaurants, and explore the city's art scene by visiting one of the many galleries or the Venice Arts Center. Take a stroll on the beach, and enjoy the tranquil Gulf waters or head over to the Venice Avenue for a leisurely walk with stunning views of the downtown.

Venice also offers a variety of fun activities such as visiting the Venice Fishing Pier and Venice Beach, where you can catch a glimpse of dolphins and manatees. You can also take a scenic boat tour through the Venice Inlet or take a kayak and explore the nearby mangroves.
