关于赛事
This Hopper is all about the Exploration and Adventure. You are welcome to Shred as much as you wish but there will be no timing, results, or podium. We think this will be the prefect format to enjoy riding bikes with friends and enjoy the beauty of this unique place on Planet Earth. Join us for a unique weekend in Mendocino County. Usal Road and the Lost Coast are in a remote section of Northern California nestled between the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Eel River to the east, 25 miles north of Fort Bragg. During Saturday's Hopper we'll have a chance to ride the roads of Usal Redwoods and Redwood Forest Foundation Inc. (RFFI) land. This year we will start and end at Rockport and will ride the private logging roads of Mendocino Redwood Company to RFFI property. This year $25 of your registration will be used to register you for one year as a member of Usal/RFFI Forest Foundation. There is an additional fee to provide access to MRC land included in the registration fee. During and after the ride you will be able to talk with employees and founders of RFFI to learn about the history of the area and what is being done to protect the Usal Forest and restore the watersheds. Sunday will be a an opportunity to hike or bike and learn about local efforts to create a model of "working community forests" For weekend details go to: Grasshopper web page. Registration is limited to 200 riders due to the remote access of the land.
